In Loving Memory....

Kimla J. Smith

The Saluki world has lost a wonderful woman. Kim was a fun person to hang out with at shows and very friendly with other exhibitors. She was a gracious winner and always there if you needed help. The first time I met Kim was at the Indianapolis Shows when Dahlia just turned 6 months. I knew immediately that our girls were related and we started talking and thus found out that Ziva and Dahlia were cousins on the Z'Bee side. I enjoyed watching Dahlia grow and mature into a beautiful hound. I saw Kim and PJ at the Fort Worth Texas shows at the end of March and was glad to have spent a little time with them and watched Dahlia win the North Texas Saluki Specialty and win breed the next day at the supported show. Kim left this world much too soon. My heart goes out to PJ, daughters Khristen and Erin, grandchildren and her parents.
