Name: Jasoor Case Number: E 217 Type: Rescue In: February 2007 Statistics: This one year-old beautiful male couldn't more aptly fit his name. Jasoor means "courageous" and after all he's been through, he certainly is. Dumped in the Kuwaiti desert with a broken leg, Jasoor has withstood multiple surgeries, and has made a complete recovery! He was near starvation when left in the desert, but he is now doing well in his foster home. Jasoor is looking for a loving home he can share his very sweet temperament and playful spirit with. Jasoor should not be placed in a home with small animals (including cats and smaller dogs) due to his natural sight hound prey drive, also not with young children. We think he will do best with one, or two dogs close to his size, full of lots of energy, since Jasoor loves to play. Region/Coordinator: Please contact Eastern Region Coordinator Lori Doering ayarcl@sbcglobal.net for more information on Jasoor. Status: Adopted March 07. |

were found along the roadside in Kuwait, this mother and puppy are a very special pair. They were very thin and frightened when they were rescued , but they managed to survive some very difficult times. They are both very sweet, Jozee is very affectionate, and anxious to receive attention. Loki is on the shy side, but his foster is currently helping him become more socialized. STOLA wishes to thank The Animal Friends League of Kuwait for nursing Jozee and Loki back to health before they transported them to the US. Once in the US, Animal Friends League of Kuwait turned this special duo over to STOLA for placement. We would really like to place these two as a pair if possible, but individual homes will be considered too. The two of them have such a special bond, it would be nice to keep them together. We do not know if either are cat, or small animal safe, but both seem to enjoy playing with other Salukis.

Name: Sahara Case Number: C 215
Statistics: Sahara is a sweet, lovable four and a half year old spayed female searching for a home that can shower her with loads of love and attention. She loves to give hugs and to rest her paw or her soft muzzle on your knee. She will sing and talk to you and snuggle up against you. Sahara would be okay as an only dog if she can spend plenty of time with her family, or she could be good with another dog her size.
We do not know if Sahara is small dog or cat safe.
Region/Coordinator: Please contact Eastern Region Coordinator Lori Doering ayarcl@sbcglobal.net for more information on Sahara.

Younger male Saluki very smart, quick to learn new things, loves other dogs his size. He is very playful and affectionate with people, and other dogs. He would not do well as an only dog, he needs at least one playmate. Currently we are not sure if he is cat safe.
