Shoes is very laid back for a young dog. His personality is starting to come out now and he is becoming more friendly with people and enjoying their attention. Shoes does very well on a leash. When he goes out in public he is the perfect gentleman. Shoes loves to go outside to play and soak up the sunshine, but inside he is more of a couch potato. Shoes is small dog safe, but we do not know if he is cat safe. Shoes needs a home with at least one other dog.
Shoes is currently being fostered in Texas

Heidi is a sweet little girl that is blossoming at her foster home, she is a joy to be around.
Heidi likes to play with the other hounds at her foster home, she often amuses her playmates and her foster mom.
Heidi is a little shy at first, but she likes to be petted and share affection once she gets to know people.
Heidi is being fostered in the Eastern Region

Statistics: Approx. 2 year old female
Isis is a sweet heart. She is timid around people, especially when she does not know them. Her foster family is helping her become more socialized. She is becoming more confident each day.
Isis likes to run & play with her fosters other Salukis, but her favorite buddy is their male Doxy.
She loves to play with toys (especially those she can get to the squeaker).
Isis is good in a crate. She will do best with at least one other dog.
Isis is being fostered in the Illinois area

Name: Orthia Case #: 324 E In: August 2010 Statistics: Approx. 1.5 year old smooth female (spayed) Orthia does well with most dogs her size, but since she likes a lot of attention from her people, she will likely do best with only one, or two other dogs. Orthia would probably be fine as an only dog if her adopters can spend a lot of time with her, and not leave her alone all day on a regular basis. We are not sure if Orthia is cat safe, but we think with training, she will likely do fine with an inside cat. Name: Puppy

Statistics: Approx 1 year old now, Puppy has grown to be a very handsome boy. He is smart, athletic and he loves to play with his canine friends. He is also very, very sweet and loves to curl up with his foster mom and cuddle.
He is totally reliable with his housebreaking. His official name was Saturn, but he's looking for a new name. He answers to Puppy.

Statistics: Scarab is a sweet smooth female saluki approximately 8 mos old. Scarab is smart and loves to play. She currently enjoys playing with her brother Khufu.
Scarab would not be content as an only dog, she will do best with at least one other sight hound and a fenced yard to play in.
As an added plus, we are told by her foster family Scarab actually likes to get a bath

Statistics: Khufu is a darling smooth male saluki approximately 8 mos old. Khufu is full of energy and enjoys playing with his sister Scarab.
Khufu is sweet and once he knows you he can be very affectionate.
Khufu would not be happy as an only dog, he will do best with at least one other sight hound and a fenced yard to play in.
Khufu and his sister Scarab would make a great pair too.

Name: Socks

Socks is a complete character, he loves everyone! He thinks he is a small dog, he likes to be in your lap or at least close to you. He can curl up into the smallest ball to be able to sleep with you. Socks doesn’t like to be alone, he would not do well as an “only dog”. Socks likes to go out do his business and come back inside rather than hang out outside too long. He will come up to you while you’re sitting and just lay his head on your lap for love Socks crates well and he is good on a leash. Socks is small dog safe, but we do not know if he is cat safe.
