STOLA is now accepting donations of vehicles, running or not, as a fund-raiser. This new option has great potential both for STOLA and for you as the donor. STOLA needs to raise funds because each dog that comes into our care generates expenses averaging $500 per dog in excess of adoption donations. STOLA needs to make up the difference by fundraising - and that's where you come in! You can donate your old vehicle and get a tax write-off and we get to use the profit from sales to save Saluki lives.

What vehicles are eligible for donation?
The program accepts cars, trailers, RVs and boats with trailers. No motorcycles, please.

How do I donate a vehicle to STOLA?
It's easy. All you need to do is contact us. We send you a vehicle pickup form for you to fill out with your name and basic information about the vehicle. Within four days after we fax your form to the program headquarters, you will be contacted by the Vehicle Program who till take care of all the transfer paperwork and will arrange to have your vehicle towed. There are no towing or other costs to you. Return that form to us, and we will handle the rest.

Will I get a tax receipt?
Yes. You will receive a receipt for each vehicle donated which is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law since STOLA is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity.

Can I donate a vehicle that isn't running?
Yes. Even vehicles that aren't running can be sold for parts. The proceeds will benefit STOLA and you will still receive a tax receipt.
